Abstract: | Renal Failure (RF) is a condition in which the kidneys fail to perform their functions normally, as the ability of the kidneys to filter and excrete waste products from the blood, monitor the balance of water and salts in the body and adjust blood pressure, dialysis is a supportive treatment for patients Those who suffer from severely impaired kidney function, or chronic renal failure (CRF), does not address the problem fundamentally, but rather provides an industrial alternative. The research includes studying the levels of kidney function in male and female renal failure patients before starting the dialysis process for different age groups and comparing them with a healthy group as a control group, (24) blood samples were collected from patients with renal failure before starting the dialysis process from the dialysis unit of the Health Department of Anbar Province, where the collection included the centers of Ramadi and Fallujah. The samples included 12 blood samples for males and 12 blood samples from females, their ages ranged between 9-50 years and 50-90 years, including those who contracted hepatitis and were diagnosed with hepatitis. He recovered and they were compared with the control group, which included 24 blood samples from healthy subjects as a control sample, from males 12 and females 12 with ages ranging between 9-50 years and 50-90 years. The study aimed to measure the concentrations of kidney function, which included (creatinine, urea, total protein, uric acid, albumin) in patients with renal failure and compared them with the healthy group as a control group. Both urea and creatinine, where a significant increase in the concentration of uric acid was observed in males and females with renal failure compared with healthy controls and for all age groups, as for the concentration of uric acid activity, where a significant increase in the concentration of uric acid was observed in males and females aged 9-50 years and male patients aged 50-90 years compared to the control group, while female patients aged 50-90 years, there was no significant difference in the concentration of uric acid as for the activity of the total protein concentration, where a significant decrease in the concentration of total protein was observed in male and female patients compared with healthy controls and for all age groups, while the activity of albumin concentration showed a decrease in its morality in males and females of patients with renal failure age (9-50) years compared with healthy males and females and sick males at an average age of (50-90) years compared with healthy males, while no significant difference was observed in sick and healthy females at the age of (50-90) years |
