dc.description.abstractPermanent lateral incisors are the one of the most common missing teeth in the mouth which lead to unattractive appearance and difficulty in treatment planning. A sample of (425) patients were examined (180) males and (245) females, the patient must be from Ramadi city, they must be between (15-35) years of age. Then by clinical and radiographic examinations show the prevalence of congenital missing lateral incisors in Ramadi city in orthodontic patients was 4.7%, 35% of them males and 65% female, the bilateral missing lateral incisors is higher than unilateral missing lateral incisors, the missing in upper arch more than lower arch and no different between the left and right side in unilateral missing lateral incisors.en_US
