Abstract: This research aims to study the size of unemployment (number of the unemployed population) in Anbar province and the spatial variation of crude unemployment rates at the level of the administrative units of the province, in addition to studying the variation of unemployment rates according to the environment (urban and rural) and by gender (males and females) at the level of the province's districts, as well as On the study of the distribution of crude unemployment rates for the unemployed population according to age groups. The study of the distribution of the geographical phenomenon in the place is one of the things that the geographer attaches special importance to because of the discrepancies that may appear in the distribution of the size of the unemployed population at the level of the administrative units of Anbar Governorate, which reveals the dimensions of the studied phenomenon within its spatial space
