dc.description.abstract | A total of 86 samples of burn swabs were collected from patients between the ages of (16-56 years).All samples were tested on several culture media. The sensitivity of the isolates to antibiotics was tested by using disc diffusion method. The results of this study showed that the most pathogenic cause of burn injuries wasPseudomonas aeruginosa25(29.07%) and Then E.coli19(22.09%), Staphylococcusaureus18(20.93%), Proteus mirabilis10(11.62%), Coagulase-negative Staphylococci8(9.32%), Klebsiella pneumonia 6(6.97%) respectively. In the sensitivity test to antibiotics, it was noted that bothStaphylococcusaureus and Coagulase negative Staphylococcia high was sensitive Vancomycin,Cefepimeand Imipenem. In the study, it was observed that all gram- negative bacteria were sensitive to the antibiotics Imipenem,Cefepimeand Tobramycin.
