Abstract: Abstract Kirkuk is one of the oldest Iraqi governorates that had the first rise of the transformational and extraction industrial activities at the beginning of the last century. It considered as a nucleus for the later industrial developing, but the exceptional circumstances of الصناعات اإلنشائية في محافظة كر كوك مجلة جامعة االنبار للعلوم االنسانية العدد الثاني )حزيران(3102 604 wars and blockade then the occupation didn’t help to raise this important sector of industry in Kirkuk. So studying the real state of the constructional industry and its settlement in Kirkuk governorate with presentation its geographical characteristics is an essential matter to expose the important problems that face the industrial settlement in the governorate and find the best solutions. The geographical components «humanity & natural» that the governorate has are forming a very big importance for the constructional industry. Its exploitation is still less than the required. The study wants to show the humanity & natural components for the settlement of the constructional industry and exposing the state of the local distributing of it in the governorate then restricting the defect in this distributing. The study wants to discuss the following industries: cement, bricks, constructional materials, asphalt. The constructional industry occupied the second grad in classifying the transformational industries after the nutritious industry in Kirkuk governorate of industry projects number. It formed the ratio 22.5% including 7 projects which have 1658 workers formed 25.5 of the total workers in the transformational industries in Kirkuk governorate for the year 2012.
