Abstract: The aim of this research is to synthesis the derivatives of the compound 1-hydrazineyl-4-(5,6,7,8-tetrahy dronaphthalen-2-yl)-1,2-dihydrophthal-azinone.(4) This compound was prepared in several steps as in Scheme 1,as a reactive starting material with the other compounds containing N, O, and S as they are considered as nucleophiles, and by using different reaction conditions, the derivatives were obtained from (5–10). All reaction were monitored by TLC technique and determination of retention factor (Rf) for some compounds. The structure formula of these compounds were confirmed by using physical and spectral data (FT-IR, 1H NMR, GC–MS). and elemental analyses (C.H.N). The synthesized compounds were screened for their anti-bacterial activity using Amoxicillin as a standard drug. 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
