Abstract: | Abstract The effect of feeding different level of Nigella sativa L. on blood constituents on Hubbard broiler chicks were studied. An experiment with 150 days old chicks was conducted from one to 56 days of age, there were five dietary treatment groups, (control group) and 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8% of Nigella sativa L. represented by (T1, T2, T3, T4) respectively, Results showed that increasing of Nigella sativa reduced plasma cholesterol and Triglycerides and the adding of Nigella sativa L. caused increased in total plasma protein and improved in blood picture (RBC, Pcv and Hb), the inclusion of different levels of Nigella sativa L. failer to effect on GOT and GPT enzymes in blood. |
