dc.description.abstractA three component condensation of formaldehyde, o phenylenediamine, and ammonia gave a novel 1,5:3,7 dimethano 1,3,5,7 benzotetrazonine. Its structure was determined by X ray diffraction analysis. An analogous condensation of formaldehyde, ammonia, and 1,2 diamino 4 methylbenzene yielded 9 methyl 1,5:3,7 dimethano 1,3,5,7 benzotetrazonineen_US
