Abstract: | "The gardens in Islamic societies have been characterized by their environmental، natural، cultural and social characteristics، which have contributed to the emergence of many special and public patterns، long periods of time and large geographical areas with close climatic characteristics characterized by low rainfall and high temperatures. The previous studies dealt with the theme of Islamic gardens، but the study of their patterns and forms and their suitability to environmental and human requirements were not presented adequately، which is considered the research problem. The hypothesis of the research was to fit Islamic gardens in all their styles and forms of environmental and human requirements of the communities and places where they originated. The research reached a number of conclusions that provide the designer with a number of indicators that contribute to the development of contemporary garden designs in the dry hot areas ." |
