Effect of Root Stock type and Spraying with SA and Humic Acid adding on growth of Peach sapling Florida CV.

Abstract

This study was conducted in the lath house, Department of Horticulture and landscape gardening, College of Agriculture, University of Anbar(Abu ghraib) from February to September 2017 to Study the effect of root Stock type and Spraying with salicylic acid (SA) and Humic Acid adding in growth of Peach sapling Florida CV. ( one year old )were budded on mariana and Apricot Rot stock The SA was Sprayed with 0,100 and 200 mg\l and Humic Acid with 5 and 10 ml\l, factorial experiment was conducted (2x5) with Randomized Complete Block Design ( RCBD) with three replicates. The results can be summarized as follows : The stocks were effected significantly in most of characters , Apricot stock gave a significantly increase in stock stem diameter (0.75cm). The spraying of SA and Humic Acid effected significantly in most of vegetative growth characters especially the Humic Acid treatment (10ml.l-1 ) its gave a high significant increase in saplings high , branches number, leaves number,leaves area, stock stem diameter, scion diameter, fresh weight, dry weight for foliar system to (18.43cm, 7.33branch\ sapling -1, 49.17leaf\sapling -1, 74.90 dm2, 2.20 cm, 0.49cm, 62.7 gm,50.49gm) respectively. The interaction treatments between stocks and Humic Acid and SA significant effect in most characters under study , The Treatment of Apricot with Humic Acid (10ml.l-1) gave highest value of number of branches , leaves number, leaves area, stock stem diameter, scion diameter and fresh weight (8.67 branch.sapling-1, 55.33 leaf\sapling -1, 90.80 dm2, 1.46cm, 0.62cm, 53.91 gm) respectively.
