Abstract

The study was conducted at college of agricultural university of baghdad , maize samples were collected from different provinces ,babylon , baghdad ,salshaldin and wast . seeds were sterilized and cultureal on PDA and incubated on 25 + 2C. This aim of the study detect and diagnose fusarium isolates which product T2 - toxin in maize grian . Results indicated that fusarium moniliforme was the most isolates fungi that found in the isolate test was 75 % and 78.3 % for fusarium spp . The isolations were inoculated in starch - czapeks liquid media for 21 day . The thin layer chromatography ( TLC ) test showed three isolated of F. moniliforme produce T2 - toxin at rates between 50 and 184 mg / l .
