The field survey results indicated to gray mold disease caused by Botrytis spp fungus on different vegetable crops under green house agriculture in different regions of Iraqi governorates (Baghdad, Anbar, Babil and Salah Eldin), that the disease is prevalent in all surveyed regions with incidence ranged from 10-43%. In addition, Isolation and diagnostic results showed that the fungus Botrytis spp was associated for all samples collected when conducting field surveys. Estimated tests indicated pathogenicity on seeds of cauliflower that all isolates fungus Botrytis spp achieved a noticeable reduction of seed germination of cauliflower rate ranging between 41 – 68% compared with control treatment ,which has the rate of germination in 86%.Some tests revealed that the isolates fungus Botrytis spp on different vegetable crops leaves plant’s on PDA that fungus isolates varied in the % infection zone between 16 – 51% compared with the control treatment with of % infection zone was 0%.en_US
