Abstract

This study addresses one of the most important and crucial subject in Islamic thought and society which deals with the rank and rights of woman in Islam, analyzing it’s effects on the reputation of Islam. The study based on the assumption that Islam respects woman and gives her equal rights with man in social, legal and human fields. The study also analyzes the content of suspicions of Islam opponents and confutes all these suspicions. The study divided into three topics as well as the introduction and conclusion. The first concerned with the rights of woman before Islamic Era. The second focused on the rights of woman in Islam analyzing the content of these rights in social, political and legal fields. The last topic dealt with the content of suspicions of Islam opponents and confuted them. Finally, the conclusion which contains the most important findings and conclusions of the study.
