A field experment was carried out during the spring and fall seasons of 2018 at private farm in ibzeabiz region. which belongd to the District - Ameeriyat al- samoud -AL-Anbar (33.16 Longitute and 43.86 Altitude). The objective was to study the effect of foliar application with four concentrations of Novalon (0, 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5) gm L-1 on growth, grain yield and quality of three maize cultivars (Sarah, Fajer-1 and Maha). Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in the arrangement of split-plots with three replicates. Results showed the superiority of Novalon (4.5 gm L-1) in the most characters especially grain yield (8.64 and 9.90) t ha-1, harvest index (40.25% and 44.28 %), and protein yield (0.91 and 1.05) t ha-1, respectively (as an average of two seasons). However, the concentration 3.0 gm L-1 gave the highest average of 500 grain weight (127.67 and 133.00) gm, respectively. There were significant differences among varieties in the all studied characters, where Fajir-1genotype gave the highest average in the most characters such as leaf area (0.56 and 0.54) m2, dry wright (148.63 and 142.00) gm, grain yield (8.24 and 9.33) t ha-1 and protein yield (0.79 and 0.94) t ha-1, respectively in both seasons, while Maha genotype was superior in the 500 grain weight (127.17 and 131.58) gm in both seasons. The interaction was significant in some characters.(Sarah x 4.5 gm L-1) gave the highest value of chlorophyll index in the leaves (51.10 and 52.07 SPAD) in both seasons. Also the interaction treatment of (Fajir-1 x 4.5 gm L-1) gave the highest vales of ear number per plant reached 1.33 and 1.36 in the both seasons - respectively.en_US
