Abstract

The DNA fingerprint is the hereditary genetic makeup that is private and separate for each individual, which indicates the identity of a particular individual. From a clinical point of view, it is highly accurate with a very small percentage of errors and a means that almost does not make mistakes in confirming lineage and making sure of the person. Relying on the genetic study of the person through medical laboratory analyzes of the genetic study carried out by a specialized medical staff, starting from the withdrawal of medical samples from the targeted persons, and what increases the sobriety of the DNA examinations is their reliance on accredited laboratories under government supervision of high accuracy and control, due to the sensitivity of these medical examinations And its social impact, which is closely linked with Islamic jurists and has a great influence in legal decision-making in Iraqi, Arab and international courts
