Abstract

The morphometric analysis of water basins is one of the important modern studies that researchers in the field of hydrology and geomorphology resort to, because it relies directly on quantitative methods and statistical and mathematical analyses, and gives an accurate and detailed description of the shape of the basins on the surface of the Earth. The total area of the basin reached (273.1) km2. Its width is 10.3 km, its actual length is 32.4 km, its ideal length is 24.3 km, and the basin’s circumference is 87.3 km. The study of the basin will be addressed from all aspects to analyze and clarify its complete shape by applying mathematical laws and equations and clarifying the correlation between the area and and other morphometric variables. In order to obtain the required accurate morphometric measurements.
